About Me

I am Gitana Paškevičienė, a Lithuanian artist currently residing in Denmark. I received the fundamentals of art from a specialized art school and further pursued in-depth knowledge independently. I am constantly engaged in the ongoing development and pulsating process of art, seeking its roots not only within the realm of art itself.

Periodically, I participate in local and international exhibitions, interacting with fellow artists from various fields. My works encompass drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, and creations from wood. I consider myself a mixed-media artist whose creativity is influenced by fantastical realism, surrealism, botany, elements of nature, mysticism, symbolism, geometric patterns, and abstraction.

Art is my self-realization, a means to expand my soul and liberate my spirit. It serves as a unique ritual, embracing spirituality, psychology, philosophy, and the meaning of human existence. It is like a meditative practice, transporting consciousness to another dimension. This process is often marvelous, emotional, passionate, spiritual, and simultaneously intricate and challenging.

I believe that art, like music, provides a space where individuals can discover themselves, move towards the light, heal themselves, and understand their surrounding space. In creating, I hope to inspire people to feel their inherent greatness, the mystery of life, the cosmos, and the divine.
